88/365 Slave Auction Block?

One of the most unusual things in my town is this auction block from pre-civil war days. This concrete block is just sitting on a random corner in downtown Fredericksburg. It is a stark reminder to any who pay attention to the dark history of our country. If you have ever read or watched the movie Roots, Kunta Kinte was sold in downtown Fredericksburg on an auction block just like this one here. It is very sad to think about and makes history so much more real.
